Beauty Disasters Solved Instantly!

It's happened to everyone, right? You're going somewhere important, and the night before, your skin looks flawless, but, the next morning, when you wake up, you see a major spot on your chin - it can't be on your forehead where your can just use your fringe to cover it up, NO, it HAS to be on your chin - or, you just got your nails done, and they look fabulous because your just had them painted in that shade of purple you love, you then have to open a bottle, and then you see that one of your nails broke off. Yep. Don't worry. Happens to everyone.

A giant zit is on your chin:

Solution: Don't freak out!! It will only make it worse. First, GENTLY, gently, using two Q-Tips, TRY and squeeze the spot, if it doesn't pop, then leave it, you don't want a scar on your chin as well as a spot now, do you? If is pops, then clean it with a clean Q-Tip, and apply some concealer on it make sure your finger/brush/sponge is clean, you don't want to infect your spot.
If your spot is still there, then put some spot treatment cream on it, and then conceal it - make sure that your finger/brush/sponge is clean. And the hope for the best.
Prevention: We all know that prevention if better than cure, so to make sure that you don't get that much spots (everyone will get spots someday, no one's perfect) wash your face twice a day, try using something that will unblock pores or prevent spots, because the reason your get spots is because of blocks pores. The use anti-spot cream or serum.

Blotchy and streaky Fake Tan:

Solution: If your fake tan hasn't been on for too long, try exfoliating the streaky areas to remove the tan. If that fails, run a warm soapy bath, and rub some lemon on the uneven areas. The acid in the lemon will help left the tan. If all that fails, then use some bronzer to even it out, you'll look very orange, but at least it will be even.
Prevention: Obviously, if you don't want to ever look like an orange ever again, you can stop using fake tan, but if that's too hard for you, then before putting on fake tan, exfoliate, especially your knees and elbows, to make your skin more even. Take your time , don't rush because that will maximize your chances of making it streaky, instead, do thin layers.

Chipped or smudged nails:

Solution: Make sure that you have a bottle of nail varnish the same as the one you have on, and when it smudges, just place a dot of varnish on the smudged area, let it dry and paint all of your nail again the even it out. If you don't have the same color, and your nails are quite long, file your nails so that the smudge/chip is less visible.
Prevention: I know this takes a hell of a long time, but before applying your nail varnish, buff your nails, or use a ridge filling base coat-or any base coat- to even out your nail surface so the varnish would stick better. Then apply 2-3 coats of varnish, make sure it's dry in between. If you really can't wait, then dip your hand into cold water for about ten seconds. Then apply a top coat to seal the varnish. After all that, wait ANOTHER five minutes before you do anything- believe me, your manicure will thank you!!
